When the principle arrives from the aim, everything seems to hardly acquire sense in three minutes. What differentiates the life from the fiction is the imprevisibilidad of the moments, not to be able to suspect the end that hopes to us, by very ready that we were created and by very tied that we think that we have everything, until the inevitable thing.
There are moments at which the songs that form part of our life are crossed the series that begin to become a hollow in our souls. The beginning of the aim of “The Shield” counts on the best one of the sound tracks, the “Disarm” of the Smashing. When this song wrote, Billy Corgan knew that someday it would illustrate the best one of histories, one in which the errors began to pass invoice by all the committed sins.
What differentiates to “The Shield” of all the other series is that you never can suspect what will happen in the following scene. The border between the good and the evil is so diffuse that from the beginning it is impossible to distinguish to good of bad. The absolute truths become blurred by chapters, disguised of escatología and extreme violence.
“The Shield” is mainly the history of a friendship, a group of elite hermanado by honor codes and blood, in which everything what is outside the confidence circle is susceptible to fly by airs. Los Angeles is the damn large city in which the dirt sprinkles to the stars sea breams, glamour sees braking by the lowest instincts and all inhabitants fight to survive a day more in the great city, costs what costs and without being able to watch backwards nor forwards, by fear to a sudden end.
The songs of the Pumpkins saved to us of the absolute desperation, made us coexist comfortably with the failure. They made us understand that the perfection is not in its letters, neither in their melodies, nor in the voice of Corgan… their hymns simply make any moment the more bearable, give sense to many of the stupidities that surround to us, help us to reveal to us against the dictatorship of the daily thing.
Nobody said that to see “The Shield” it was easy, you can take up to 50 chapters in understanding because you continue it seeing; but when everything seems lost, this series will show one of those moments that never you will see in no other, nor in cinema… one of those moments that seem leaves vú, because no longer you will be able to leave of sentirte identified with its protagonists.
